You can access Vega Preset Queries, your own queries and lists from the Contacts tab. This will allow you to view the query and list results but you will not be able to edit the criteria from here. Please see Creating and Editing Queries for more detail on this aspect.
You can use the search bar to easily find a relevant query or browse the list.
The output option will default to View in Grid where possible or Export to Excel for larger queries. You are able to choose the preferred output from the dropdown and click to generate the query. Please note, the additional action types are also available once the query results are viewed in the grid.
View in Grid- Default option to view the query results in a grid on the screen.
Export to Excel - This will show a message that your query has been sent to the export service and you will receive a message when this is available to download as a .xlsx file
Add/Remove to List - This will open a pop up to allow you to create a new list or select a current one to add the contacts in your query results to or to remove these contacts from an existing list:
Print to Labels - This will open a pop up to select the label type and then generate an address label export for the contacts in the query results
Update Contact Histories - This will open a pop up with a dropdown of your available documents to choose from. The document will then be recorded on each contact in your query results under their mailings tab with today's date.
Insert/ Remove/ Close Attribute - This will open a pop up to choose the relevant attribute. There is then the option to Add this attribute to all contacts in the query results, Remove the attribute or Close the attribute.
Update Account and Mail Statuses - This will open a pop up to choose the relevant Account and Mail statuses. Each contact in the query results will then be updated with options selected here for their Account status and reason and Mail status and reason.
If using a Vega preset Query and filter criteria is needed then a pop-up window will be displayed for this.
For example, the query "All Contacts By Attribute (All)" will then allow you to choose the specific attribute you would like to use to find all relevant contacts with this.
From your grid results, you have the ability to perform the actions outlined above also:
Please Note: Insert Attribute will open the pop up to allow you to add, close or remove a specific attribute to or from all contacts in your query results. This will not add additional attribute criteria to your query. This is a powerful tool to allow you to easily process bulk attribute actions.
