Vega offers a set of standard forms that allow you to integrate Vega into your website. You would use these to take online donations, add new donors, members or subscribers, capture requests for information or allow your contacts to remove themselves from your organisation. Each of these web dialogues can initiate the appropriate communications - receipts, thank yous, membership acknowledgement, as configured by your organisation.
These widgets come with a standard set of dialogues (page flows, field sequencing and labels) which Vega considers provides the best user journey for each of the scenarios. Below is an explanation of what each of these web dialogues does.
Donation Widget
Capture the donors:
- Contact details (or prepopulate from personalised EDM link)
- Donation (one-off or recurring)
- Credit card payment details (credit card numbers are not stored)
Process the credit card payment via your payment gateway and Vega will:
- Create/update their contact record
- Record the payment against the contact/campaign/GL code
- Set up a recurring payment against the contact if they have selected the recurring payment option
- Optionally display a 'survey' page if configured, and, when completed, store the survey responses against the contact as attributes in Vega.
- Display a personalised thank you page to the donor
- Send a thank you email and receipt
- Optionally send a notification to a single email address
Register (Subscribe) Widget
Capture the subscribers:
- Contact details (or prepopulate from personalised EDM link)
In Vega, it will:
- Create/update their contact record
- Optionally display a 'survey' page if configured, and, when completed, store the survey responses against the contact as attributes in Vega.
- Display a personalised acknowledgement page
- Optionally send a confirmation email
Membership Widget
Capture the members:
- Contact details (or prepopulate from personalised EDM link)
- Membership type
- Membership payment
- Credit Card payment details (credit card numbers are not stored

- Create/update their contact record

- Create an event (has groups/tables/teams)
