Note: You will need to install an authenticator app (Google, Microsoft, Authy etc.) and have a safe space to save a recovery code before setting up MFA.
How to log in using the new Vega login screen and MFA.
From the home screen click Log in to Vega
You will be redirected to our secure log in form, enter your username and password and click Continue.
If you cannot remember your password on the first time setting this up and need to reset it, then please use the link here- https://dashboard.vega.works/Account/recovery.aspx?email= instead of the 'Forgot password?' link in the login window.
If this is your first time logging in you will be asked to set up MFA using an authenticator app of your choice. Scan the QR code from within your authenticator app (not from camera mode) and follow your apps' instructions. Enter your one-time code and click continue.
You will be redirected to a recovery code page where you can copy a recovery code for use when you don't have access to your authenticator app. Once you have acknowledged this you will then be redirected to the Vega home page.
The next time you log in you will be able to 'remember this device for 30 days' if you select not to do this you will be asked to enter a one-time code every time you log in.
If for some reason you don't have access to the device your MFA was set up on, for example you lose or switch devices, you will need to contact Vega to reset your MFA settings. Only Vega can reset MFA settings for security purposes. In order to do this we will need to receive confirmation from another admin user to authorise this change. The same process will be required if a user has lost or recorded their recovery code incorrectly.
