Membership criteria can be added in the query tool using the attribute tab or the specific Memberships tab, results will always be generated based on an Open Status membership attribute:

- Select the membership type you would like to add to the query and the 'Membership filter' will give you various options to choose from.

Equal- With no date added this will find all contacts with an open status membership attribute of those selected. With dates included the membership attribute will need to match exactly on the From, To or Both dates if used Greater Than or Equal- This can be used in conjunction with the date fields to find memberships with start or end dates equal or later than the date specified Less Than or Equal- This can be used in conjunction with the date fields to find memberships with start or end dates equal or earlier than the date specified Greater Than - This can be used in conjunction with the date fields to find memberships with start or end dates later than the date specified Less Than- This can be used in conjunction with the date fields to find memberships with start or end dates earlier than the date specified Does Not Equal- With no date added this will find all contacts who do not have the specified membership attribute with open status. When dates are included, it will give results of those memberships which do not match the exact dates specified |

- Once you have chosen your required membership criteria, click 'Add' to include this in your query
- Multiple membership criteria can be included, with different filter options for each but the results will only show contacts who meet ALL of these requirements
- Once added, it will show on the left-hand side, underneath the output columns. You can click to open the criteria from here and make any necessary changes or remove the filter
- Ensure you save your query before leaving the query tool
