Unsubscribe Widget - Widget Code

You can create and edit your widgets from Admin > New Widget Configuration:

Within the widget configuration page, we will see the types of widgets available. We can create new ones (click the 'Create Unsubscribe Widget' button) or edit any existing ones (find the widget you want to edit in the Widget Name list and click the 'edit' button next to it):

Select Widget Code from the configuration options on the left-hand side.

This section is where you can easily find the iframe code to embed your widget into your website and create the personalised link to include in your emails.

The unsubscribe widget can be embedded on a webpage using the iframe code from this section.

Please ensure the webpage is only accessible via a link, and not from other pages on the website.

Widget Email Link

This section allows you to generate a personalised URL with a specific campaign ID to include in your emails for this custom unsubscribe widget, as detailed below.

Alternatively, you can add the merge tag #URLParameters# at the end of your widget URL in your document, and this will automatically include the personalised GUID and the campaign ID of the campaign action the document is sent from.

• Select the option shown below, "Create a link for an Email to prefill the Widget with a supporter's details".
• Enter your container page, this is the webpage your widget is embedded on or the Vega widget URL if you're not embedding the widget.
• Select the campaign you would like to have these unsubscribes recorded against.
• Click "Generate Email Link" and then copy this link into your email document.
