Regular reporting allows you to monitor the progress of your raffle campaign, including ticket sales, donations, recipients, and ticket availability.
Vega provides several ways to monitor your raffle campaign, including campaign metrics, raffle insights, product analysis reports, and campaign lists.
Before You Begin: If you have not yet set up your raffle campaign, please complete this first: Creating a Raffle Campaign
Campaign Metrics
The Engage tab provides quick metrics for your raffle campaign.
Expand the campaign header to view the overall campaign metrics and the metrics for each campaign action.
Campaign Header Metrics
The campaign header metrics provide an overview across all actions within the campaign header.
Where a target has been entered on the campaign header, you will also see:
- The overall target
- The amount achieved
- The percentage of the target achieved
These figures include totals across all actions within the campaign header.
Campaign Action Metrics
Metrics for each campaign action include:
- Number of contacts who have made a ticket purchase
- Target for the campaign action
- Total money raised from ticket sales and donations
Note: Campaign metrics are updated hourly, so these figures may not reflect the most recent transactions.
Show All Actions
Click Show All Actions to open a detailed view of all campaign actions within the campaign header.
This view includes the overall campaign header metrics as well as additional information for each campaign action, including:
- Total payments received
- View Stats button for email metrics
Click View Stats to view the email metrics for the campaign action.
Email metrics include delivery results for emails sent in association with the campaign, including ticket fulfilment workflow emails. This can help you identify bounced emails and follow up to ensure ticket information has been delivered to purchasers.
Raffle Campaign Action
You can open the raffle campaign action from Engage at any point during the campaign to view detailed information about its performance.
The campaign action includes the following tabs:
- Insights
- Recipients
- Purchased
- Donated Only
- Audit
Insights
The Insights section provides an overview of ticket sales, donations, ticket availability, and campaign activity.
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total items purchased | The total number of tickets successfully purchased. This is the total ticket quantity, so a Buy 5 Get 1 Free purchase counts as 6 tickets. |
| Total items pending | The number of ticket purchases with a pending status. These may be due to a processing error or pledged tickets. |
| Total items suspended | The number of ticket purchases with a suspended status. |
| Total open pledges | The number of tickets currently assigned within a pledge. |
| Total items cancelled | The number of tickets with a cancelled status. |
| Total items remaining | The number of tickets still available to purchase based on the maximum capacity. |
| Current ticket number | The next ticket number that will be assigned to a ticket purchase. |
| Total sales | The total amount raised from ticket sales. |
| Total donations | The total amount raised through donations towards the raffle campaign. |
| % earned of target | The percentage of the campaign target achieved through ticket sales. If no target is provided, this will show as 0 before any purchases are made and 100 after a successful purchase. |
| Average purchase amount | The average transaction amount for ticket sales. This can also indicate the average number of tickets being purchased. |
| Average donation amount | The average amount donated to the campaign, either as an additional donation with a ticket purchase or as a donation-only transaction. |
| Total recipients | The number of contacts included in an event communication from within the campaign action. |
| Total contacts purchased | The number of contacts who have made a ticket purchase. |
| % purchased | The percentage of recipients who have purchased tickets. If no recipients are recorded, this will show as 0. |
| Ticket types | Each ticket type is listed with the number purchased. This is the total ticket quantity, so a Buy 5 Get 1 Free purchase counts as 6 tickets. |
Recipients
The Recipients tab lists contacts who have been sent communications from within the raffle campaign action.
This can be used to see which contacts have been included in communications associated with the campaign.
Note: The Recipients tab only records contacts who have received communications scheduled from within the raffle campaign action. Communications created separately under the campaign header are not recorded here.
Purchased
The Purchased tab lists all contacts who have successfully purchased raffle tickets.
The table includes the total ticket quantity purchased and any additional donations made by the contact.
Click any row to open the contact's record.
Donated Only
The Donated Only tab lists contacts who have made a donation towards the raffle campaign but have not purchased tickets.
Click any row to open the contact's record.
Audit
The Audit tab records changes and updates made to the raffle campaign action.
The audit records:
- What was changed
- When the change was made
- Who made the change
- The previous and updated values
Ticket purchases are also recorded in the audit. For example, when a purchase is made, the audit will record the update to the next ticket number.
Changes to the raffle details and publishing status are also recorded.
Tip: If the audit shows that a change was made by the Relationship Server, this indicates that the change came from a widget transaction.
Product Analysis
Additional raffle reporting is available under:
Insights > Product Analysis
The Cumulative Product Totals report allows you to filter results by:
- Date range
- Campaign
- Product
The report results are separated into the following tabs:
- Summarised Results
- Unsummarised Result
- Purchases
- Donations
- Cancelled
This provides another way to analyse raffle ticket purchases, donations, and cancelled transactions.
My Lists
When a raffle campaign action is created, Vega automatically creates a list under:
Contacts > My Lists
The list is named after the raffle campaign followed by Respondents.
The list:
- Is a Campaign List type
- Is linked to the raffle campaign
- Includes contacts with successful ticket purchases
This list can be used to view the contacts who have purchased tickets as part of the raffle campaign.
