Once your organisation has registered for a Vega account, our onboarding team will guide you through the setup process. Your onboarding journey is designed to help you configure Vega to meet your organisation's needs and ensure you have the knowledge and confidence to begin using the platform effectively.
The onboarding process is delivered through a series of guided stages, supported by email communication, training sessions, and collaboration with our team. Whether you're a small community group, a growing charity, or a large organisation with established fundraising programmes, taking the time to complete each stage will help you get the most from Vega.
Below is an overview of each onboarding stage and what you can expect.
Stage 1: Welcome
The Welcome stage introduces you to Vega and confirms your organisation's requirements.
During this stage you will:
- Confirm your organisation's goals and required functionality.
- Activate your Vega account.
- Receive an overview of your onboarding journey.
- Attend an introductory training session to familiarise yourself with the platform.
Stage 2: Data
This stage focuses on migrating your existing data into Vega.
During this stage:
- Data is extracted from your previous system and provided to the onboarding team.
- Your data is reviewed, and any questions or clarification are discussed with you.
- Data requirements are finalised before import.
- Your imported data is reviewed and approved by your organisation.
- Training is provided on Contacts, Attributes, Queries, and Reporting.
Stage 3: Admin & Integrations
This stage configures your organisation's administrative and financial settings.
During this stage:
- Your organisation profile is completed.
- Your payment gateway is authorised and connected to Vega.
- Xero or MYOB integrations are configured (if applicable).
- Training is provided on Admin and Finance.
Stage 4: Configuration
This stage customises Vega to suit your organisation's branding and processes.
During this stage:
- Training is provided on Documents and Campaigns.
- Default document templates are updated with your organisation's branding and messaging.
- Training is provided on Widgets.
- Your website widget requirements are confirmed.
- The onboarding team configures your widgets to match your website styling.
- Widgets are embedded into your website.
- Your organisation is ready to begin accepting online donations, registrations, and other submissions.
Stage 5: Review & Support
The final stage ensures you're ready to transition to ongoing use of Vega.
During this stage:
- Any additional training included in your onboarding package is completed.
- You are invited to provide feedback on your onboarding experience.
- You are introduced to the Vega Support team and ongoing support resources.

Your onboarding is now complete and you're ready to start using Vega with confidence.
