Before you begin
Before setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you will need:
- An authenticator app installed on your mobile device (such as Google, Microsoft, Authy etc.)
- A safe place to store your recovery code, which you will receive during setup.
Logging Into Vega and MFA.
- From the Vega home page, click Log in to Vega.
2. You will be redirected to the secure login page.
3. Enter your username and password, then click Continue.
Forgot your password?
If you have forgotten your password before setting up MFA for the first time, use the password recovery page rather than the Forgot password? link on the login screen.
Use the direct password recovery link:

Setting up MFA (First-time login)
The first time you log in, you'll be prompted to configure MFA.
- Open your preferred authenticator app.
- Select the option to add a new account.
- Scan the QR code displayed on the screen using your authenticator app (do not use your phone's camera app).
- Follow the prompts in your authenticator app.
- Enter the one-time verification code generated by the app.
- Click Continue.
Save your recovery code
After successfully setting up MFA, you'll be shown a recovery code.
This recovery code allows you to access your account if you lose access to your authenticator app. We strongly recommend storing it somewhere secure before continuing.
Once you've acknowledged that you've saved your recovery code, you'll be redirected to the Vega home page.
Future logins
When logging in after MFA has been configured, you'll be prompted to enter a one-time verification code from your authenticator app.
You can also choose Remember this device for 30 days.
- If selected, you won't be prompted for an MFA code again on that device for 30 days.
- If not selected, you'll be asked to enter a verification code each time you log i
Troubleshooting
I've changed or lost my phone
If you've lost your device, replaced it, or no longer have access to the authenticator app, you'll need to contact Vega Support to have your MFA settings reset.
For security reasons:
- Only Vega Support can reset MFA.
-
We require authorisation from another administrator within your organisation before resetting MFA.
Note: Requests to reset Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) are considered security-related requests and do not incur a support ticket charge.
I've lost my recovery code
If your recovery code has been lost or recorded incorrectly, the same MFA reset process applies and administrator authorisation will be required.
