Notes can be added to a contact to record additional information, such as a phone call or meeting with the contact.
A note can also be added to a contact with a reminder to notify a user to action something or simply provide information.
To do this, you need to find the contact to record the information against.
Click Add Note from the action buttons on your contact:
You can use a document for your note or add free text to the main dialogue box.
Select your note type (these are added as attributes), Note Security, Note Date, and Note Time (these will be populated with the current date and time).
If you would like to add a reminder for a vega user you can do this with the fields at the bottom of the note pop-up window.
Alert- This will show the content of the note as an alert message when the assigned user logs in on the due date. The alert does not include a link to the contact, these will need to be included in the note if required. The user can click the X to dismiss the alert for that session or click Don't show this again to remove it fully.
Message- This will notify the assigned user that they have a message on the due date by showing a number next to the mail icon on the top bar.
The user can then open the message to display the note contents on the screen. Clicking See all in Inbox will take the user to their vega mail inbox and show the vega ID the note has come from. The mail icon will show a new message until the reminder has been marked as read.

To delete a note use the Delete function located on the bottom of the note section, please be aware this function can only be used by users with Admin roles.
