The key is to understand that Vega manages relationships based on who is the primary contact and who holds the relationship type. Thus in the example below the Organisation contact is the primary and the selected relationship description "Employer" reflects this.
The relationship types available can be edited from within Admin > Attributes, then select the attribute type Relationship. As an organisation, you can make current attributes inactive or create new attributes to customise the relationships needed for your specific requirements.
To add a relationship, open your primary contact, in this case, we are using the Organisation contact- always add the relationship link on your primary contact. Click the button Add Relationship as shown below:
Select the relationship type to describe the relationship in regard to the primary contact, in this example "Employer"
There is the option to include start and end dates if needed
