A Campaign in Vega defines any appeal/event/initiative for your organisation that involves communicating with and/or soliciting payments from your contacts, tracking responses, and resulting income.
These are structured as a Campaign Header and a Campaign Action or a series of coordinated actions to achieve the desired outcome.
An Action in Vega defines the method by which you communicate with your contacts and can be used to segment your contacts across different actions during a campaign.
Sometimes it is easiest to create your campaign action ahead of time to be processed at a later date. This can be achieved with the standard campaign actions but the recipient list is set at the time the action is created. If you need to use a dynamic list of recipients to get the most up-to-date contacts at the time your action is processed, a scheduled action can be used instead.
Please see the articles here for details on creating and managing campaign headers and creating and managing campaign actions.
