Add Image
Image Content Properties | Explanation |
Auto width: By default, when a new image is inserted, it will automatically be adjusted using the Automatic image resizing setting, picking the best size for the image based on a combination of image width and available space in the layout. You can turn this setting ON or OFF to keep the image with its default size or edit the size with the slider bar, from 20% to 100% of the original size. This is a great tool to easily edit the image size without needing external software or risking image distortion. A larger high-resolution image can be used to ensure good image quality but easily scaled to fit in your document. This setting is applied to the content block so if the image is changed the settings will remain but can be easily changed again. There is also the option to set the image as Full width on mobile |
Align: Click one of the three options to change the positioning of the image, left-align, centre or right-align |
Dynamic: When a 'dynamic image' is enabled Url becomes the location of a sample image shown in the editor. 'Dynamic Url' will be used in the HTML code. The size of the dynamic image will be set based on the sample one, so use a sample image of the same size. Some cool example uses for this are personalised cards or a countdown timer |
Change image: Replace the image with a new one from the File Manager Apply effects & more: Load the image editing tool, which allows you to resize the image, apply visual effects, and much more. Url: Specifies where the image is saved. You can also paste an external URL to load an image from. |
Alternate text: Enter the text that should be displayed when images are turned off. This is a best practice in email design since there are still email clients that have images turned off by default. |
Action Image link: When the action type is Open web page, you can add a URL here or select a file to link to when the image is clicked in the document. Please note- ensure any link does not have extra spaces before or after the link address. Clicking Link file will open the File Manager and files such as a PDF can be used here. When the image is clicked the chosen URL or file will be opened in a new web page. |
Action Image link: Changing the action type to Send email will allow you to add the email details; mail to address, subject and body so that when the image is clicked it will open a new email message in their default provider. |
Action Image link: Changing the action type to Make call will allow you to add a phone number. When the image is clicked on a phone it will enable the user to call the number entered here. |
Action Image link: Changing the action type to Send SMS will allow you to add a phone number. When the image is clicked on a phone it will enable the user to send an SMS to the number entered here. |
Padding: Turning on the More options will allow you to set individual padding for the top, bottom, left and right. If this is off the padding size will be applied to all sides. The padding increases the blank space between the image and the edge of the content block area. |
Hide: You can choose to hide this image on Desktop or Mobile. This can be used if a larger image is preferred not to display when viewing on mobile due to the format differences. |

Add Video
The video content block allows you to share your video content easily in your email campaigns. You only need to copy and paste the URL of your video from YouTube or Vimeo. No needs to edit or resize front page images, this feature will automatically grab the cover image for the video, overlay a Play icon on top of it, and link it to the video content.
To get started, drag the 'Video' tile in the 'Content' panel into your design. The 'Content properties' section will ask you to provide a video URL from YouTube or Vimeo, ensure the URL is a valid link, this can be saved directly from the browser URL bar.
You can edit the type, color, and size of the Play icon to change the way it looks once the URL is added.
Note:
This feature does not embed the actual video in the in the template but rather links to it in a smart way, by adding an image from the video and linking to it.
The reason why the actual video content is not embedded into the message is that, unfortunately, this feature is not supported by email clients.
