When new button content is added to your document, or you select an existing button content block, the content properties bar on the right will display the possible settings for this content type.

Explanation |
Action link type: When the action type is Open web page, you can add a URL here or select a file to link to when the button is clicked in the document. Please note- ensure any link does not have extra spaces before or after the link address. Clicking Link file will open the File Manager and files such as a PDF can be used here. When the button is clicked the chosen URL or file will be opened in a new web page. |

Action link type: Changing the action type to Send email will allow you to add the email details; mail to address, subject and body so that when the button is clicked it will open a new email message in their default provider. | |
Action link type: Changing the action type to Make call will allow you to add a phone number. When the button is clicked on a phone it will enable the user to call the number entered here. | |
Action link type: Changing the action type to Send SMS will allow you to add a phone number. When the button is clicked on a phone it will enable the user to send an SMS to the number entered here. | |
Auto width: By default, when a new button is inserted, it will be set as Auto width. You can turn this setting ON or OFF to change the size of the button with the slider bar, from 20% to 100% of the content block area. |

Background color: This will apply the selected colour as the button | |
Text color: This will apply the selected colour to the text in your button. | |
Align: Click one of the three options to change the positioning of the button in the block; left-align, centre or right-align. | |
Line height: There are four options to increase the line-height of your button text. This increases the space around each line of text. | |
Border radius: This setting changes the shape of the button corners from straight to curved. 0 will be a straight rectangle button, increasing up to 60 (depending on the size of your button) to gradually round the edges. | |
Content Padding: Turning on the More options will allow you to set individual padding for the top, bottom, left and right. If this is off the padding size will be applied to all sides. The padding increases the blank space between the button text and the edge of the button. |

Border: Turning on the More options will allow you to apply individual border settings for the top, bottom, left and right side of the button. If this is off the border will be set for all sides.
You can choose the border type; Solid, Dotted or Dashed, the border weight/ thickness and the Colour. |

Block Padding: Turning on the More options will allow you to set individual padding for the top, bottom, left and right. If this is off the padding size will be applied to all sides. The padding increases the blank space between the button and the edge of the content block area. |

Hide: You can choose to hide this button on Desktop or Mobile. |
