The Membership widget is a powerful tool for managing membership subscriptions and renewals.
You can create and edit widgets under Admin > Widget Configuration:
Within the widget configuration page, we will see the types of widgets available. We can create new ones (click the 'Create Membership Widget' button) or edit any existing ones (find the widget you want to edit in the Widget Name list and click the 'Edit' button next to it):
This article will detail the Discount settings. You can click the links below to read about other settings in the membership widget:
Form Setup | Form Options | Acknowledgements | Financial | Widget Code | Custom Attributes | More Options > CSS |
This is where Discount Codes can be configured for your members to use on the widget for a discounted membership price.
Discount field | Explanation |
Give your discount code a name, this is what the user will enter when using the widget. Click Generate to populate this with a randomised code to use
Each discount code can be set as a percentage or a fixed amount of the total
This is where the percentage or fixed value is entered
The discount can be configured now but will only be active from the date entered here
Your discount code can also have an end date, is this a limited time offer to promote sign-ups for only this week?
Tick Active and Save your discount settings to have it available on your widget |
The Summary box on the right-hand side will show you how many times the discount code has been used. The payment form on the contact will also show that a discount was used in the Pay Details:
Discount codes can be marked as Inactive from clicking Edit and unticking the Active box or they can be removed completely by clicking delete.
