Under Donation Options, you can customise the prompt amounts and frequencies on offer to your donors. This could encourage your donors to increase their donation amount or sign up for a regular gift instead of a one-off.
This screen allows you to add your own prompt amounts, replacing the default 25, 50, 100 buttons
When entering the prompt amount you can choose to display a document above the donation selection and whether it should be the default amount.
This functionality to associate a document with each prompt amount could be used for demonstrating the equivalent cost of the donation. For example, the standard cost of a coffee a day or how $50 would benefit your charity.
This functionality can be elevated with an engaging document to demonstrate the true impact of your organisation on the donor. CSS is a great tool to also improve this and format your widget so it fits seamlessly into your website.
The donation prompt you have ticked as default will automatically be selected when the donation form is loaded. Here $75 is my default amount:
You must have the setting "Show Donation Frequency Option", under Form Options, turned on to see this section.
The frequencies available in this drop-down will be any attributes you have under a type name Frequency or Donation Frequency. Available frequencies are:
Annual or Annually
Any frequency which is added and has the option to "Use Frequency Acknowledgement Email" ticked will be sent the Recurring Acknowledgement with no PDF attachment. It is best practice to use this for recurring donors so that they can be thanked but not have their first donation receipted. An annual receipt can then be sent at the end of your financial year for all of their donations.
The frequency selected as default will be automatically selected when the donation form is loaded.
