The widget configuration can be accessed from Admin > Widget Configuration:
Select the widget type and Edit to the right of the widget name you would like to edit:
Select Acknowledgements from the configuration options on the left-hand side.
This section is where the email and receipt documents are added, an important aspect to thank your donors.
Acknowledgement | Explanation |
This will be the email address the donor receives their acknowledgement email from, if left blank it will be your default service email | |
This is where you can select the document to be sent, as the content of the email, in acknowledgement of any donation not tagged as a recurring acknowledgement frequency. See more detail in Donation Options | |
This is where you can select the document which will be sent as a PDF attachment to the above acknowledgement email. This will usually be the receipt document for one-off donations | |
This is where you can select the document to be sent, as the content of the email, for those donations tagged to receive the recurring acknowledgement. See more detail in Donation Options. This email will not be sent with an attachment | |
Would you like to receive an email notification after every donation? Selecting Yes here and then completing the next steps will enable this | |
This is where you will select the document which will be sent as your notification email. There is a Vega template for this called Donation Notice or you can create and then select your own | |

This is where you can select the document to be displayed on screen to the donor after completion of the donation form. Only certain merge tags will be available to use in this document |
